The Trust have produced a number of self-help leaflets for service users on subjects such as anxiety, stress and depression and low mood.


Website Quality Checklist:

Here are some tips to help you to choose between good and poor quality websites, for accessing health information:

  • Who has written the information?

    • What are their qualifications to write the information?

    • Are contact details provided?

  • When was the information written/updated?

  • Why is the information/website there? 'What's in it for them'?

  • If the site gives information about a therapy or treatment, does it tell you about disadvantages and alternatives?

  • If the site provides clinical information, does it give its sources? (e.g. a list of references or documents at the bottom of the page).

Arts for Health work with artists, musicians, writers and other creative professionals to deliver stimulating activities for service users.

Service User Mobile Library

We have a mobile patient library that visits the wards at the Redwoods centre ans St George's at Stafford.

We currently stock books on a variety of subjects and are always on the look-out for book, magazine or audio book donations!

Recovery College 

The SSSFT Recovery College offer recovery focused education and training, with courses running predominantly in community venues accross South Staffordshire and Shropshire.
